Midwestern United Foundation
Driving social progress, integrity, and reaching everyone.
Our Foundation goes far past the pitch, prioritizing mentorship, outreach, awards, inclusive initiatives, local works, and academic growth across the region to help empower every young citizen involved.
Our Core Objectives
While athletics serve as a primary tool, the Foundation's essence is found in social inclusion, mental growth, and opening doors. The Foundation fiscal gifts and team branding operate as two entirely distinct and separate entities.
Initiatives & Local Influence
Midwestern United is active in Columbus adaptive play. We back the Parks & Recreation Buddy Sports league, our athletes serve as peers year-round, and our Futsal Charity event donated all earnings to Buddy Sports. The Foundation exists to expand this mission so every child has a fair chance to participate in the games they love.
Grants & Future Hope
Launching an upcoming award initiative centered on guidance, altruism, ethics, and civic duty. We aim to establish a permanent mark for individuals who exemplify these vital principles through their actions.
Help Our Foundation
We welcome you to participate via funding, charitable gifts, and partnerships that lift up inclusion-based, affordable or free local program availability for all.
Always Participating
Midwestern United athletes and their kin back the Columbus local Buddy Sports initiative during every month of the year.
Autumn · Football Partners
Four weekend dates on the BCSC field. Each player joins a partner to work on ball skills, and our own club members act as those vital partners.
Winter · Hoops & Friends Program
Buddy Sports heads inside for the cold months. Athletes and their partners practice ball handling while building new bonds on the hardwood.
Spring · Inclusive Diamond Ball
Batting, catching and circling the diamonds at Clifty Park, ending with an award gala for every kid.
Winter · Futsal Charity Challenge
Our junior indoor event at The Goal SC donated every dollar to Buddy Sports, paying for specialized gear, jerseys and rental durations.
Junior Guidance & Volunteering
Athletes Who Give
All Midwestern United members perform civic work during the season, and Buddy Sports is a main platform for that effort. Assisting players of all needs find success on the dirt builds empathy, support and maturity, and these skills endure far past the match. We also really love playing a fast round of playground games.
